fdgfdgsdasfsdf If it is LuaRT-1.5.0-x86.exe or LuaRT-1.5.0-x64.exe you are talking about, then you may open it with 7-Zip and retrieve the contents. (I ran LuaRT-1.5.0-x86.exe and it closed immediately and nothing happened, so this is how I extracted the contents.)

Ok I am very sorry for that.
Both executables have ben tested on my PC and they worked.

I was able to reproduce the issue on an old PC. Please be sure to :

1/ First, uninstall any prior LuaRT installation.

2/ Then be sure to have a latest Windows updated system or manual install the MSVC runtime
As the executables are compiled with Visual C++ 2022, the only thing I see is that you will need the Visual C++ runtime librairies to be installed.

1/ First, uninstall any prior LuaRT installation.

I had assumed that the upgrade could be installed by overwriting it. This solved the problem of the installer not launching on my PC. Thank you!

I rebuild one of my applications as exe with LuaRT 1.5.0, but when launching the exe I got a dialog with title "Entry Point Not Found" and the strange message:
"The procedure entry point detectBOM could not be located in the dynamic link library myapp.exe"
Any hint?

I have found that it is due to a mismatch with the old DLLs that were still in some places, now I can run the exe.
However, there are a number of changes required to migrate to this new release,
e.g. in using pipes and sockets.
Could you please confirm that sock:send() can be now used insteas of sock:sendall() ?

Yes this release is a big game changer for LuaRT.
Socket.send() now ensures that all provided data has been sent, hence the removing of Socket.sendall()

is a socket blocking by default?

Yes Sockets are in blocking mode by default.
To set non blocking mode set the Socket.blocking property to false

I might add a constructor optional argument to enable non blocking mode directly

The installer bug is related to an issue with compiled scripts (await/async/sleep will stop program execution)

Yes you can check the download.lua example, especially the Http.received property that contains the bytes count of data received for the Http response.
