Get File download percentage, speed, etc

Hello, there is :Get() method in Net module, which i use to simple download files, but how do i know
the percentage of file downloaded, the download speed ( basically downloaded divided by time spent) ?

If file is big for example and i wanna visualize download percentage

The net module don't provide those kind of functionalities, for the moment. I have planned a rework of this module that should provide those kind of features.

It will be in approx two month I think, maybe before if I have the time, it depends on a new functionnality that I am implementing...but can't say more for now 😉

Samir Thank you, but since i really need this (Im making a downloader) can you suggest my any ways to do this?

You can try to get in the response header the "Content-Length" field to get the file size but sadly all GET method are blocking... it's not possible for now to get the progress made while downloading

Samir i mean i even tried coroutines but nothing would work untill download is finished

Samir I actually managed doing it with curl! Chat gpt suggested me this, and I also managed sending http requests with headers by Curl, its awesome
