if it's opensourced, I wish it'd be compiled by green tinycc.
lua module compile is always a big problem, VS or cygwin just too big, can't manage to make it work.
LuaRT is compiled with Mingw-w64 and might compile with TCC with some adjustements , but other compilers support is not a priority for now.
TCC is fast and produces tiny executables but at a price : executables are not optimized for modern processors and are terribly slow...
I totally agree with you concerning Lua binary modules compilation on Windows !
Maybe, the TDM-GCC is an option for you?
Currently i use this to compile binary modules for LuaRT and others.
The default installation is approx. 560-600MB in size. However, it might have some quirks, but i never had any issues with it.
Btw. @[deleted] is there a reason that LuaRT is compiled as an 32-Bit application?
It should compile with TDM-GCC, as it is based on MinGW-w64.
For 64 bits version, I have already compiled it internaly, but I focus on the 32bits version for now (not enough time in a day !)
Update : The bug is fixed, and will be available in next release.
Thank you agin for your report !
Update: LuaRT support for x64 processors is now complete and will be available in next release 0.9.9 👍️
