Window:onMove() event is not always fired

It seems that the event is not always executed. When the user moves the window (title bar) with the mouse, the event is not fired. Only when the user minimizes or maximizes the window using the window buttons, onMove() is executed. Also when the user changes Windows.X and Windows.Y with the code.

I have LuaRT 1.4.0 x64 installed. I used the example form the documentation.

I cannot reproduce this bug :

Using the example from the Window:onMove() event documentation, moving the Window with the mouse updates correctly the status bar with the current Window position.

Even when setting Window.x and Window.y properties fires the event correctly.

What is your Windows version ?

Sorry for the late reply. But I had the opportunity to test the sample program on another PC. This PC runs Windows 10 Home 22H.2 and shows the same problem as on my PC with Windows 11 Home 22H2.

I converted the example into an EXE program and executed it with the corresponding lua54.dll file.

When I maximize or minimize the window everything works. Only when I move the window at the title bar with the mouse, no positions are shown in the status.

Do this problem occur even when running the script with the wluart.exe interpreter (ie when not compiling it to an exe) ?

Very strange.... I am able to reproduce the bug now. You were right as it seems to occur at some times.
I'm working on it to fix it.
