Any timeframe for next release?

Hi Steve,

Next release will be available in the next few weeks.

The delay is longer than usual because of new functionnalities that should be appreciated.
It needs more testing because it affects LuaRT internals, and there is a lot of documentation work.

I will post a rough changelog soon that will contain the outline of the planned changes.

p.s. any progress in fixing the IDE random crashes, it's one weakness in your beautiful toolset that would need some investigation if not already solved

For the random crashes I am still investigating... Any further info on this is welcome.

The issue may occur at any time when editing a text with no apparent reason.
The IDE immediately exits without any notice.
It could happen in average once per usage hour, but difficult to measure and predict.

Yes I think it's related to text typing...maybe a parsing error during typing

does the incoming release include anything related to Canvas zooming and scrolling?

Yes I hope I will have the time to implement transforms for Canvas (rotation, scale, translation and skew)

Great! By the way, any suggested way to implement a scrolled canvas with current release?

For now you don't have any option than manualy keep track of the x position of the background and add this value to any x position of a drawing operation...
