The LuaRT environment has begun to reach a critical size, with several subprojects: LuaRT, LuaRT Studio, rtc, QuickRT, and recently the Json module.

Managing over 800 pages on the website is also a considerable task.

This is a situation where any help would be appreciated 😉

There are many ways you can contribute to this projects, even if you do not know C or C++:

  • Provide examples
  • Provide documentation (in .md format)
  • Provide tutorials and howtos (in .md format)
  • Write posts about LuaRT on Lua programming forums
  • Write blog posts
  • Or just spread the word on LuaRT on social media for example

Hello. How do I add the luasocket module to luart?

You need to get a LuaSocket binary distribution compatible with Lua 5.4 (LuaRT Studio includes one).

But why do you need one ? LuaRT contains Sockets ans an Http(s) client

I am a user from China. Thank you for developing this LuaRT tool. Could you please provide a Simplified Chinese package? Thank you again!

Hi Warren,

Thank you. What do you mean by simplified chinese package ? Are you referring to the LuaRT setup and the Windows Start menu entries ?
