Is it possible to keep the "minimize" (and possibly also "maximize") capabiilties
for windows created with 'fixed' style?

You are right, the fixed Window style do not permit to maximize/minimize/resize.

I have added a new Window style single with the following characteristics :

Thanks, I tried the 'single' style and it works fine. However, it is not yet documented in the Window constructor.
